The model determines the most cost-effective mix of travelers and full-time nurses to accommodate regular and peak census periods based on a facility's historical census, financial information and nursing practices.

This Web-based, self-service portal streamlines the communication, ordering, tracking and management of travel personnel resources. The staffing service center offers online access to active and pending traveler profiles, work histories, skills checklists and references in an organized, centralized location. This complimentary service for AMN Healthcare clients saves time and improves the efficiency in managing traveler documentation.

Continued Education
The RN.com group education program offers convenient, Web-based learning and continuing education 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. High quality, online course content is accredited in all 50 states, and offers 240 contact hours with over 100 diverse courses to choose from. Online courses are accredited through the ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center), which enables nurses to complete courses and print certificates immediately after passing a course.

Online Resources, Portal Sites and Job Postings
AMN Healthcare hosts several online career resource portals, which offer feature stories, up-to-date news and information, podcasts and job postings. Among these sites is NursingJobs.com, which allows facilities across the United States to post permanent nursing positions at no cost to site visitors. Becky has been instrumental in keeping AMN Healthcare on the forefront of  staffing workforce solutions to include vendor management/managed service product offerings, as well as taking a leadership role in implementing technology solutions. Her team currently manages one of the largest VM implementations in healthcare today with over 1,800 sites across the country. Prior to AMN, Ms. Kahn served as chief operating officer/executive vice president for Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association. In this role, she managed the for-profit services division which was responsible for providing products and services to member hospitals through a group-purchasing model. The largest program under management was a supplemental staffing program for travelers and per diem nurses.
