Community Relations
AMN Healthcare's Community Relations program is dedicated to supporting the communities in which our team members live and work. Our approach to corporate citizenship includes a targeted campaign of community partnerships and Volunteer service with non-profit organizations that contribute to the quality of healthcare, wellness and social services and improve the lives of our neighbors. The work of these organizations includes supporting those with medical and social needs, seeking treatment improvements, and promoting public understanding and awareness of particular health risks and diseases.
We are particularly proud of our employee volunteer program, AMN Cares, because it reflects the strong philanthropic efforts and spirit of our corporate employees and healthcare professionals. AMN Cares is designed to reinforce our mission of "Helping Achieve Professional and Personal Goals Everyday" by providing team members opportunities and resources to take an active role in AMN’s community relations. Our team members bridge our company and our communities by giving their time and talent generously to local service projects.
AMN Healthcare is committed to the future of the healthcare industry. To ensure that the best and the brightest fulfill their education in nursing, medicine and the life sciences, we have established a scholarship program to provide funds to students and faculty based on merit, need and dedication to America's health.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure®
AMN Healthcare sponsors the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure each year to support the fight against breast cancer. As part of our commitment to our team members and the community, AMN Healthcare pays the registration fees for all participating corporate employees through the company in any of the 5K Race for the Cure event across the nation. In addition to our corporate sponsorship, team members raise and donate funds to their local Komen Foundations.
