As a leader in travel nurse and allied staffing services, locum tenens (temporary physician staffing) and physician permanent placement services, we recruit physicians, nurses and allied healthcare professionals nationally and internationally and place them on assignments of variable lengths and in permanent positions at acute-care hospitals, physician practice groups and other healthcare settings, including rehabilitation centers, radiology imaging facilities, dialysis clinics and pharmacies throughout the United States.

The U. S. temporary healthcare staffing industry revenues are expected to grow by 5% in 2008 to $11.9 billion according to growth estimates supplied by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) in June 2008. Industry revenue estimates for the markets in which we provide temporary healthcare staffing services were estimated to be $2.5 billion for travel nursing, $1.9 billion for locum tenens and $3.4 billion for allied healthcare. The remainder of the industry revenue estimate was attributable to per diem nurse staffing, which is a market in which we do not participate.

Ms. Susan R. Nowakowski (44) is Chief Executive Officer, President, and a Director of AMN Healthcare Services, Inc. (NYSE: AHS), the largest healthcare staffing company in the United States and the leading nationwide provider of physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals. In 2007, AMN reached a milestone when it became the first company in the healthcare staffing industry to exceed $1.2 billion in revenue. AMN is currently ranked as one of the top ten largest public companies in San Diego.

Ms. Nowakowski is an active industry and company spokesperson with the financial analyst and investment community, and has been one of the driving forces behind the company's major strategic and operational initiatives since joining the company in 1990. Before becoming Chief Executive Officer and President,Ms. Nowakowski served in several other executive management positions at AMN Healthcare, including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Senior Vice President of Business Development. Ms. Nowakowski also currently serves on the Board of Directors of Beckman Coulter (NYSE: BEC), the University of California San Diego Sulpizio Family Cardiovascular Center and San Diego State University College of Business Administration.

Ms. Nowakowski takes an active role in promoting the value of women in leadership positions and in 2003 was recognized as one of the top "Women Who Mean Business" by the San Diego Business Journal. Prior to joining AMN Healthcare, Ms. Nowakowski held various finance positions at a subsidiary of Eli Lilly & Co. and at BioVest Partners, a venture capital firm. Ms. Nowakowski holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Accounting and a Master's degree in Business Administration.
